Dimitrie BEREA and his master Pierre Bonnard at National Broadcast Television

In spring 2022, TVR International and TVR 3, have broadcasted an interview with Mihai Sandulescu about his new book "Dimitrie Berea and his master Perre Bonnard". It was a wonderful opportunity for the author to refresh the memory of the art collectors about the life and work of Dimitrie Berea.

A new book has just been published in 2021 about Berea. It reveals interesting facts on how Dimitrie Berea met Pierre Bonnard and was influenced by his art. Describes unknown stories behind the creation of some of the most beautiful paintings that made Berea famous. Presents Berea's collaboration with the most important galleries of the world: Bernheim Jeune, Durand Ruel, Acquavella, Arthur Tooth & Sons. Presents the successful retrospective exhibition held on the occasion of 111 years since his birth at the Romanian Academy of Sciences.

Retrospective exhibition held on September 2019 under the patronage of the Romanian Academy of Sciences, with works from private collections. There were exhibited over 50 works that were gathered from private Berea collections.

Mihai Sandulescu went live on radio telling to the public the amazing story of the artist. The major public awareness was achieved when TVR1 at News issued a short material about the life and work of Berea.

On February 2020, TVR International broadcasted a complete film material on retrospective exhibition held at the Romanian Academy of Sciences.

Dimitrie BEREA monography

Mihai Sandulescu published the first complete monography of the artist, distributed through book stores, private art galleries, etc.

The images were made available through the contribution and courtosy of Berea College Kentucky, Rogallery New York, private collectors and artists descendants.
